    The Development of Problem-Based Learning and Concept Mapping Using a Block-Based Programming Model to Enhance the Programming Competency of Undergraduate Students in Computer Science

    The purpose of this research is to develop problem-based learning and concept mapping by using a block-based programming model (PBL-CBp model) and to evaluate the appropriateness of the PBL-CBp model. The research will be divided into two parts. The first part will be about learning style development and will study the theories and ideas which relate to problem-based learning, the programming process and the concept mapping and block-based programming. It will synthesise the steps in the problem-based learning method, and the steps in the program process and design the learning steps by using problem-based concept mapping and block-based programming. The second part will consist of an evaluation of the appropriateness of the model. An appropriateness questionnaire for the PBL-CBp model will be created and the PBL-CBp model will be submitted to five experts for improvement

    The purposes of research study were 1) to develop an online lesson on spelling reading Thai language for 4th grade students, 2) to compare the students’ learning achievement after and before being exposed to the developed online lesson, and 3) to compare the learning achievement of the students studying online and that of those with the conventional method. The subjects of this study were 60 forth grade students from Wat Chaiyapruekmala School. The students were divided into two groups of 30 each, using cluster random sampling technique; i.e. lucky draw. The first group was for the experiment while the second was treated as a control group. The instruments used in this study were an online lesson and an achievement test. Arithmetic means, standard deviation, dependent and independent t-test were used to analyze the data. It was found that 1) the developed online lesson on spelling reading Thai language for 4th grade students was, according to the experts’ assessment, appropriate in every aspect, 2) the online group’s mean score obtained from the post-test was higher than that of the pre-test, and 3) the mean score of the online group’s learning achievement was higher than that of the control group at a significance level of .05

    The objectives of this research were to (1) develop e-learning lessons following Gagne’s teaching method for the Principles of the Use of Thai Language course in schools in Bangkok area, focusing on Prathom 6 students of Wat Avutvikasitaram, Bangkok who were in the second-class Thai language learning group (2) compare the learning achievement of the focused group members before and after study via the e-learning lessons following Gagne’s teaching methods. The sample of the present study were 44 students in Prathom 6 of Wat Avutvikasitram School; half separated into the experimented and the control groups, respectively via the use of purposive sampling technique. The learning achievement test was implemented to collect data. Mean scores, standard deviation, and dependent t-tests were employed as analytical techniques for the present study. The results of research show that : 1. The e-learning lessons following Gagne’s teaching method for the Principles of the Use of Thai Language course in schools in Bangkok area was an efficiency 80.09/87.27, which was higher than 80/80 criterion. 2. The learning achievement of students after study the e-learning lessons following Gagne’s teaching method was significant higher than before study at .05 level

    The aim of this research was: 1) to synthesize the learning system; 2) to compare the pre-test and post-test grit score; 3) to compare a formative evaluation of the grit score with the criteria; and 4) to study the correlation between grit score and learning achievement score. Results exhibited that: 1) the learning system has 9 segments. 2) the post-test grit score was higher than the pre-test score at a .01 level of significance; 3) the level of grit after using the developed model is 81.74 per cent, which is above the 80 per cent threshold; 4) grit was correlated with a learning achievement of 0.77

    The objectives of the research study were: (1) develop and find an efficiency of the Cooperative Web- Based Learning (CW-BL) using Learning Management System (LMS) of Foreign Language Department (English Subject) for Prathomsuksa 5 students of the schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration : Bangplad District on the topic of Tense, (2) to study learning achievement of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Awutwikasitaram School after the learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS on the topic of Tense, (3) to study the opinion of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Wat Awutwikasitaram School who studied with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS. The studied samples were 36 Prathomsuksa 5 students of Wat Awutwikasitaram School. They were selected by using multi-stage random sampling. The research tools consisted of (1) Web-Based Learning using cooperative learning methodology through LMS, 2) achievement test, and 3) the opinion questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent). The research findings were : (1) the efficiency of the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS was 80.90/8.76 which was higher than the set criterion 80/80, (2) the students learning achievement after learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS was higher than the pretest at statistically significant level .05, and (3) compared means of the opinion of sampling group towards learning with the Cooperative Web-Based Learning using LMS were at the highest level

    The objectives of the study were (1) to design Work-integrated Learning model by using information technology of higher education institutes in Thailand, (2) to evaluate Work-integrated Learning model by using information technology of higher education institutes in Thailand. The study designs were qualitative and quantities. The study using the educational process of expert’s opinions. The samples used in this study comprised ten experts of Work-integrated Learning and had capabilities about information technology. The tools used in this study were open-ended questions and 5 rating scales close-ended questions. Statistics used to analyze data were Mean, and Standard Deviation. The results revealed as follows: (1) Workintegrated Learning model by using information technology for higher education institutes in Thailand consists of 3 main components 1) Stakeholder 2) Information Technology and 3) Work-integrated learning activities. (2) The results of evaluation the Work-integrated Learning model by using information technology of higher education institutes in Thailand were found by the ten experts, there were consensus that the designed model was high appropriate
